Turning 30...

...it's not so bad. I had a great weekend, was spoiled by everyone and I enjoyed every minute of it. My mom made one of my favorite meals and my all time favorite birthday cake. I don't even know what it is called but it has been around for a while. Chocolate with chocolate chips and powdered sugar on top. YUM!!

When I told Irelyn and my nephew how old I was they both said "Wow!" Everything sounds old to them- even 6! Looking forward to a great year.

The beginning of our blog!

Ok, this is the first day of our family blog. I've been reading everyone else's blogs and decided it was time to start our own. This is our most recent family picture from Valentines Day. We are sitting with a huge bear that Irelyn received from George's mom. Irelyn says she looks "crazy" in this picture.
