5.  The California Poppies that are blooming down Pacific Park

8.  Coaching Irelyn's Pink Cupcakes soccer team
9.  the beautiful weather we have been having here in So Cal

and my most favorite thing this month...

10.  my new Shark floor cleaner.  Two friends told me it didn't work but it actually does!

10 things I'm loving in March

1. The weather! Perfect sunny days with a slight breeze
2. My husband
3. Whoopie pies from Susie Cakes
4. LOST
5. Salads with garbanzo beans, cucumber, carrots, almonds, eggs or chicken, balsamic vinaigrette
6. My new beach cart. It carries everything for me!
7. Walking at Dana Point Harbor
8. The way my dad is helping my mom after her surgery
9. The anticipation of summer
10. The excitment Irelyn shows about going to gymnastics and her pride when she accomplishes a new task at class

10 things I loved about 2008

In no particular order-

1. Going to Portland, Oregon in May. It was a great trip, we did so many fun things... except that I got sick on the plane.

2. Starting my job in September. It has been a true blessing- what else can I say?

3. Watching Irelyn play on her first soccer team.

4. Getting in touch with so many new and old friends on facebook.

5. The little weekend getaways that George and I had. They were much needed :)

6. Celebrating new babies, new marriages etc. with lifelong friends.

7. Everything we did this summer! The parks, the beach, the time with cousins...

8. Going to Disneyland!!!!!! We just renewed our passes so we are looking forward to more good times in '09!


9. Our wonderful, amazing neighbors! Raising kids(or kid) would not be as much fun if they weren't around.

10. Irelyn! She is just so funny, sweet, caring, thoughtful, and fun to be around. She makes our lives fuller and we are so lucky that God gave her to us :)

I probably could keep going and I'm sure I forgot some... Happy '09 to you!!!!!!!!

1. My new bare minerals purchases from QVC
2. Going to the beach in the evening
3. Soups!
4. Irelyn writing words and posting them on the fridge
5. Doing Christmas art at school
6. Getting ready to put the Christmas decorations up next Friday
7. The understanding and love my husband and I share
8. Having lots of family events
9. The way things are changing/growing in our lives
10. Stopping to chat with the 94 year old man walking in the mall. He certainly had some wisdom to share.
